Refunds & cancellation
Last updated 2026-08-16
We would rather refund someone who is unhappy than argue about it. This page sets out how cancellation works and when we refund, so there are no surprises either way.
1. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your account, or by emailing support@keklik.io. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term.
Cancelling stops the next payment. You keep access for the rest of the period you have already paid for, and your account moves to no plan when that period ends. We do not pro-rate a partly used month.
2. The 14-day refund
If the Service is not right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full, provided you have used no more than 10% of that period’s credit allowance.
The credit condition exists because collecting data costs us money at the moment it happens. If you have spent more than 10% of the allowance, we can still refund the unused portion at our discretion — just ask.
3. Renewals
Renewal payments are not refundable by default, because you can cancel at any time before a renewal and we will remind you of nothing you did not sign up for. If a renewal caught you out — you meant to cancel, or you did not use the Service at all that period — write to us within 14 days of the charge and we will look at it sympathetically.
4. When we always refund
- You were charged twice for the same period, or charged after cancelling.
- A fault on our side stopped you using the Service for a substantial part of a billing period and we could not fix it.
- Credits were deducted for work that was never delivered because of a fault on our side. We restore the credits, or refund them if you prefer.
5. When we generally do not refund
- Credits already spent on data that was collected and delivered to you.
- A change made by a third-party source that reduces what is publicly available to collect. We will tell you when this happens and adjust what we charge for going forward.
- Accounts terminated for breach of our acceptable use policy.
- Dissatisfaction with data that was collected accurately from the source. The Service returns what is published; it does not verify it.
6. Credits
Credits are a unit of account for using the Service. They carry no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and are not exchangeable for money except as part of a refund under this policy.
7. How to request a refund
Email support@keklik.io from the address on your account, telling us which charge you mean and why. We aim to reply within two business days and to process approved refunds within five business days. The money returns to your original payment method; how quickly it appears is up to your bank.
8. Your statutory rights
Nothing here reduces rights you have by law. Consumers in the UK and EU have a statutory right to cancel certain distance contracts within 14 days; where that applies, it applies in addition to this policy.
Purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record, so a refund may also be requested through them, and will be handled under this policy.
